We finally finished

Todaywe finished making our mechanisims and mine broke straight away so wardy had to help me fix it. It now works and im am very happy. I cant wait to decorate it :)

NO WARDY

Today we didnt go into the workshop becuase mr ward was away. Instead we used the laptops and our ipads and worked on our blogs and our assingment.

MY PROJECT IS COMING TOGETHE!

Today was our fourth lesson of design futures, i walked into the workshop ready and wanting to make something. I walked into the workshop and put on my googles and apron. Mr ward showed us what we would be doing in the lesson these things included, using the drill machine and using a hand drill. I used the drill machine first and it was a bit scary at first but once it was done i found out i had nothing to be scared of. I then used the hand drill which i thought was really easy to use, i then finished the lesson by sanding my project. That lesson i progressed alot.

Third lesson

Today was our third lesson of design futures and i was excited and really to get into the workshop. I walked into the workshop and i put on my googles and apron. I chose my plastic which was yellow and got the template and drew the outline of the shapes. I then went to the scroll saw and watched mr ward cut out my shapes. I then went to the sander and sanded my shapes. I was the first to finish these tasks so i just went back to the desks and finished sanding my objects. I wonder what we are going to do next lesson? I then packed up and it was the end of the lesson.

Lesson 2

Today i walked into the classroom wondering what we were going to do in that lesson. Mr ward soon walked in and my question was answered. That lesson we were introduced to what we would be making this Term, I was so excited and thought what wardy make was so awesome. I wonder if Wardy can make my project pink? I can't wait to get started on my Design Futures project im really looking forward to it!

Our first lesson

Today was our first lesson of design futures, i was so excited because I love making objects. Our teacher mr ward told us our blog can be as creative and colourful as we want and would be our own creative domain. Today mr ward reminded us these tests had to be done, hot melt glue gun, disc and belt sander, scrollsaw, general machine safety, general workshop safety, band saw and router. During this lesson mr ward told us we would be making little control systems. I cant wait till we make this object!
